Mr. Ashish Kumar

Manager at Deloitte US in Hyderabad

This is with regard to informing you that our school, DBMS Career Academy, has been one of the strongest pillars in shaping my life. I completed my 10th in 1999 and 12th in 2000, and those formative years played a defining role in building the person I am today.

DBMS not only provided me with academic knowledge but also instilled discipline, confidence, and strong values. The guidance of my teachers and the encouragement of my mentors motivated me to dream big and work hard toward achieving those dreams. The lessons learned inside the classrooms extended far beyond textbooks — they taught me perseverance, responsibility, and leadership.

Today, I am working as a Manager at Deloitte US in Hyderabad, and I am also a Partner/Director at IT firm, Aarjay Services
(www.aarjayserv.com), providing services for software development, digital marketing, and IT training with placement support.

Whatever success I have achieved in my professional journey is deeply rooted in the strong foundation laid during my school days. I remain forever grateful to Mrs. Uma Madam, Mrs. Shubra Vora Madam and DBMS Career Academy for nurturing my potential and guiding me during my early years. I proudly carry the values and teachings of my school in every milestone of my journey.

To the current students, I would say — believe in yourself, respect your teachers, and never stop learning. The foundation you build today will define your future tomorrow.

Warm Regards
Ashish Kumar

Mr. Parvinder Bhatia

Bureau Head, The Pioneer, English Daily, Jamshedpur

Name:
Parvinder Bhatia, Bureau Head, The Pioneer, English Daily, Jamshedpur

Field:
Journalism

Year of Passing:
1999 Batch

In the vibrant media landscape of Jharkhand, few names command as much respect and recognition as Parvinder Bhatia. With a career spanning over two decades, Parvinder has emerged as not only a seasoned journalist but also a media maven whose work reflects both credibility and curiosity. Currently serving as the Jamshedpur Bureau Head of The Pioneer, he continues to steer conversations around industry, trade, and society with insight and depth.

Parvinder began his journalistic journey in 2004 with The Telegraph. From the outset, his approach combined sharp reporting with a genuine passion for storytelling. His stories went beyond headlines to capture the pulse of Jamshedpur—its people, industries, and evolving identity as an industrial hub. His bylines soon became synonymous with accuracy, fairness, and an ability to break complex issues into narratives that resonated with readers.

Over the years, his pen has traveled widely across respected publications. Apart from The Telegraph, Parvinder has contributed extensively to The Times of India and The Avenue Mail. His reporting has particularly highlighted trade and commerce, an area where his expertise has earned him a trusted voice in the region. In an industrial city like Jamshedpur, such focus has been crucial, helping readers understand both the micro and macro dimensions of economic shifts. His presence at numerous trade and commerce events further underscores his dual role—as both an observer and an active participant in the city’s growth story.

But Parvinder’s persona extends well beyond the newsroom. An avid quizzer since his student days, he has consistently demonstrated a love for knowledge and competitive intellect. His victories in the Ethics Quiz 2003 organized by Tata Steel and the Media Quiz 2025—also by Tata Steel—stand as bookends to a journey marked by consistency and brilliance. For years, his quiz columns have graced national dailies like The Asian Age, The Statesman, and The Times of India, where he engaged readers with thoughtful questions and enriching trivia.
